- "4 Paws For A Cure" is a dog walk that was created to help raise money for the National Childhood Cancer Foundation (NCCF). The 2001 walk is over, but donations are still being accepted.
- NOVA Cat Fanciers
Not-for-profit Cat Fanciers Assoicatin Cat Club dedicated to educating the public about cats and promoting the welfare of pedigreed cats and producing several flagship shows for CFA
- NOVA Cat Fanciers produces one of the premier Cat Shows in the Country in August and sponsors several other key Cat shows throughout the year. All of the shows offer superb entertainment for the public and a fabulous opportunity both for local shelters to offer cats for adoption and fundraising for local and national cat related charities.
